School Supplies

To help prepare students for the first day of school and beyond,

our teachers have developed these school supply lists for your review. Please label items with your student’s name in permanent marker to help teachers identify supplies.

 

In addition to grade-specific items outlined below, all students will need:

    • Individual water bottle
    • One pair of ear buds or a set of headphones for private listening to individualized computer learning programs. They should be brought to school in a resealable plastic bag with your student’s name.
 

In addition, we try to keep each classroom supplied with the health and cleanliness items listed below. We ask that, if possible, each student bring these to school at the beginning of the year to be shared by all students in the classroom. Each teacher then makes these available as needed throughout the year. Special thanks to all who can help with these items. These items are also included in our grade-specific lists below.

    • 3 boxes of tissues
    • 2 rolls of paper towels
    • Package of Clorox or Lysol Wipes
    • Baby wipes or hand wipes

Please look below and find your student's grade and Campus. As you review these school supply lists, please remember to put your child's name on everything that belongs to him or her. Thank you!

 

Art supplies- Both Campuses

 

***Some of the following items may also be included with your child’s homeroom list. You do not need to purchase duplicates. 
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Scissors 
  • A choice of either crayons/markers/colored pencils
  • Pre- K, Kindergarten, and First Grade will need glue sticks.
  • 2nd to 6th Grade will need bottle glue.
  •  5th and 6th Grade - assorted color permanent fine tip markers. 
  • *It is helpful to keep them all in a container or pouch to bring to each class

 

Stream supplies- Both Campuses

 

  • Grades 3-6: a journal or notebook 
  • All grades: a branch 2 inches thick and 1 foot long, also a second branch ½ inch thick and 1foot long. Bring to school on the first day of school in a bag with your child’s name on it.

 

 

Pre Kindergarten 3 year olds and 4 year olds (3 days a week)- East Campus

**If possible please bring supplies to pre-K orientation or before the first day of school. Be sure to put your child’s name on EVERYTHING! (Please do not send pens, notebooks, or folders)**

  • 1 plastic pencil box
  • 1 spill proof water bottle (to be brought in every day with water ONLY)
  • 2 boxes of Crayola Crayons (16 or 24 pack)
  • 1 box of Crayola washable markers 
  • 9 Elmer’s glue sticks 
  • 1 bottle of Elmer’s liquid white glue 
  • 1 pair of kids safe scissors (with blunt edge)
  • 1 four pack of Playdoh 
  • 1 coloring book
  • 1 change of clothes (shirt, pants, underwear, socks, sneakers in a labeled ziplock bag) 
  • 1 oversized t shirt or art smock in a labeled ziplock bag
  • 3 boxes of tissues
  • 3 rolls paper towels 
  • 3 containers Clorox wipes 
  • 3 packages baby wipes 

Pre - Kindergarten 4 (5 days a week)-East Campus

**PLEASE CONSIDER BRINGING THESE ITEMS TO PRE-K ORIENTATION IN AUGUST.*

  • Spill Proof Water Bottle (To be filled each morning at home and sent to school.)
  • Snack Bag (brown paper lunch bags) **Snack must be completely disposable!

  • 2 Boxes of CRAYOLA 24 count Crayons (NO JUMBO)
  • 12 SMALL Glue Sticks (Elmer’s Preferred. Please NO SCENTED STICKS.)
  • 1 Bottle of Liquid WHITE Glue (Elmer’s Preferred)
  • 1 Box of Crayola Markers
  • 1 Box of Crayola Colored Pencils
  • 4 Cans of Playdoh in a Ziploc bag
  • 1 Pair of Headphones in a Ziploc bag (please NO EARBUDS)
  • Large Art Shirt or Smock (it will stay in school all year)
  • 1 Extra Sweatshirt or Sweater in a Ziploc bag (to be kept in school)
  • 1 Coloring Book

  • *CHANGE OF CLOTHES **Please include: 1 short sleeved shirt, 1 long sleeved shirt, 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of long pants, underwear, and socks. These items should be put into a large Ziploc bag with your child’s name on the front.

Kindergarten- East Campus

* Please put your child’s name on all supplies in permanent marker prior to sending to school.

  • For novel study: This year, for our novel study, we are going to explore biographies! We are going to use a series of books called: "Who Was.....?" Your child will be able to choose their own historical figure to research. You can find these books online. In the search box, type "Who Was - book series for kids." With your child, choose the famous person that your child would like to research and have your child bring the book to school. I cannot wait to see who your child chooses!
