Catholic Schools Week 2022

Take a moment to reflect on how we celebrated Catholic Schools Week 2022! With the many student- and faith-centered values, Divine Mercy Catholic Academy is the elementary school of choice in our community! CSW 2022 was held Sunday, 1/30 through Saturday, 2/5.
This year, our celebration was focused on strengthening our hearts and spirits, and sharing our gifts with those in need. Throughout the week, our students worked with each other, their teachers, area clergy members and others to bring Faith, Excellence and Service to life. Our activities include:
Sunday, January 30: Celebrating Our Parishes
- Parishes displayed posters made by our students
- Our Chorale also performed at St. John Gaulbert Cathedral
Monday, January 31: Celebrating Our Communities
- Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet
- Opening Mass was held at both campuses
- Students had the chance to partake in a pen-pal zoom between East and West campus
- Students at West Campus received Throat Blessings after mass by Father Mark
Tuesday, February 1: Celebrating Our Students
- Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet
- Lights, camera, action! Students were treated to an afternoon movie
- Thank you PTO for providing a popcorn treat for our students!
- Free Dress Down Day: Pajama Day
- No Homework!
Wednesday, February 2: Celebrating Our Nation

- Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet
- Collection for our local VA and Troops
- Students brought in hundreds of personal care items donations
- Free Dress Down Day: Red, White and Blue
Thursday, February 3: Celebrating Vocations
- Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet
- Coffee and Donuts with priests! It was a great time for students to ask questions for our priests!
- Students at East campus received the Blessing of the Throats by Father Peles
- Free Dress Down Day: Favorite costume/ character day
Friday, February 4: Celebrating Our Faculty, Staff and Volunteers

- A breakfast was provided for our faculty and staff from the PTO
- Free Dress Down Day: Students dress like your favorite teacher/staff member
