FOSS Science Initiative

At Divine Mercy Catholic Academy, our students engage in an array of hands-on learning experiences to help them develop their problem-solving and critical thinking skills. This includes scientific inquiry fostered through the resources and best practices of the nationally-recognized FOSS program.

Developed at the prestigious UC Berkley's Lawrence Hall of Science, this innovative, inquiry-based science curriculum challenges students to delve into the hows and whys of science, and work together to gain a better understanding of the role that science plays in everyday life.
