As an experienced second grade teacher at our school

I'll encourage students to follow the Golden Rule

Along with instilling in their heart and mind

The importance of being caring and kind.

Above all I'll help children prepare in a special way

To receive Jesus on First Holy Communion Day!

In the classroom I'll challenge each child to do their best

By praising improvement as well as a high score on a test.

And throughout the learning process school will be fun

Because I'll add some humor to see a smile on everyone!
